Just A Reminder!

The next newsletter is scheduled to be mailed out at the end of January 2012.  Before that date the Duane Angels will be sponsoring two community events.  The first being the

Halloween Party in October and the second being our annual Christmas Party.  Both are  fun filled events which provide an opportunity for members of our community to get

together.  Watch for your mailing with the dates and time.

Duane Fire Chief Ned LeMieux Jr. would like to remind home owners who burn wood to    remember to get your chimney cleaned and inspected before the upcoming heating season.

All comments and suggestions concerning the newsletter should be directed to

 Gary Cring,  483-2611.

Gift Shop To Open At Deer River Campground

Deer River Campsite Store now has a unique gift shop, open during the summer months.

Save time and money by shopping for that impromptu gift locally.  Gift Shop Hours are the

      same as campground store hours:   9:00am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 6:00pm. (Monday

      through Sunday)

Just A Reminder!

*The Town of Duane has a dog control ordinance.  If you love your pet please don’t allow

it to run freely.  Be considerate of your neighbors and your pet.

*It’s spring time again.  It’s time to rake the lawn, plant a few flowers and clean up after

winter.  When you take that evening walk it would be appreciated if you would take a

small plastic bag with you and pick up any litter along the road side.  As residents of

Duane we can be proud of the beautiful community we have here in the Adirondacks.

Together we can keep it that way.  Thank you.
